What is the benefit of posting projects on Bahrain Skills?

By posting your project on Bahrain Skills website, the following benefits will be achieved:

  • Support the local labor market by opening new opportunities for the local market to work on and make an additional income.
  • Receive one or more proposals for you to choose from and select the best skilled service provider to complete your project.
  • Pay service providers per project while enables you to control your budget.

What are the steps to post a new project?

To post a new project, you need to be registered on the website. Once registered, select post project from the home page or from the upper menu.

How do I define the required skills for a service provider?

During filling the project details, the form will ask you to assign a category for the project. Each category will display the relevant skills that are required to fulfill the project. Service providers must have the selected skill to be able to send a proposal for the project.

How do I know that a service provider has responded to my project?

Bahrain Skills will send you an email upon receiving a new proposal for your project. You can also check your project by going to Dashboard => Employer Projects

Where do I find my project?

Your Dashboard provide all required details about your account and related activities. To find your projects, click on “Dashboard” from the upper menu and then select “Employer Projects

What do I need to do after receiving a proposal?

After receiving a proposal, you should review the proposal details, duration, and price. You also need to review the service provider profile and check their rating and history. You may also need to wait to receive additional proposals to evaluate multiple alternatives and select among them. Before awarding the project to a service provider, you may want to communicate with the service provider through the Messaging center or select “Send a Message” next to the project.

How do I communicate with the service provider?

The website provides a messaging system that enables you to communicate with the service provider. You can click “Send a Message” to start chatting with the service provider. The button is available next to proposal in the project details.

How do I confirm accepting a proposal from a service provider?

After reviewing the receive proposals and decide to proceed with a service provider, click on “Award Project” next to the proposals in the project details and confirm your decision.

How do I pay a service provider?

Bahrain Skills has developed the milestone concept to protect both, the project owners and the service provider. This is achieved through the wallet.

To pay the service provider, there two steps:

  • Fund your wallet using credit card or local debit card (Benefit)
  • Create a milestone at the awarded project.

It is always advised that you do not release the milestone unless your have received the service or agreed with the service provider on a payment.

When would the service provider receive their money?

The money are transferred from your wallet to the service provider once you both agree and you release a milestone payment.
